Our Vision

When it comes to making an impact, we took a long, hard look in the mirror and asked ourselves, “what do we bring to the table?” We realized that we could use our expertise to amplify the efforts of existing charitable organizations that better the lives of others.

We’re marketing professionals. We use our unique skills to help businesses that exist to make peoples’ lives better. From graphic designers, website developers, content writers, advertising specialists, project managers, and more, The PODvocate Project has hundreds of hours of expertise available to meaningfully impact charities in our community. 

Our vision is to make professional, high-quality, specialized marketing services accessible to charities so their staff and volunteers can spend more time doing what they’re best at—making a difference with their work.

How We Choose
Our Charity

Our decision-making process begins with surveying the staff at POD Marketing Inc. to understand which causes resonate with them as a collective. 

After that, we get to work identifying and contacting organizations that work within our chosen cause. After receiving a complete application, conducting interviews, and diving deep into each charity’s “why,” we follow a specially designed decision-making framework to determine which charity we work with every two years.

Our Process

After we choose the charity, we sit down with them to understand their mission. We ask questions to gauge which areas we can help with. Then, the planning begins. 

Bringing together a team of talented marketers, we create a comprehensive marketing and promotions strategy. Whether it’s designing a new website, managing a full re-brand, promoting their annual fundraising campaigns, or implementing a new social media framework, we’re here to help.

But it doesn’t stop there. Once we’ve designed a marketing plan that works for our chosen charity, we implement support infrastructure and tools so the results last long after our years together come to an end. By bringing people together for one common purpose, and using our collective time, we aim to create lasting value for every charity we work with.
